The Bible we read is beautiful. Its full of 66 books written by a ton of different authors, telling long stories, short stories, general stories, detailed stories, but all of those things point to Jesus being our savior.

Tonight we are going to look at one of those stories. Its about a woman meeting Jesus on the worst day of her life.

A rebel is a person who resists any authority, control, or tradition.

…so a life-changing rebel is someone who is a non-conformist to patterns of life or traditions of the culture in order to glorify God and live on the mission of God.

Evidence of Jesus’ resurrection:

– Stone had been rolled away from the tomb (v2)
– Linen clothes… but no Jesus (v5-7)
– Jesus’ appearing to Mary Magdalene and the other disciples (v11-29)
– Testimony of Mary Magdalene (v18)
– Jesus shows his scars (v27-28)
– Growth of the Church (Matthew 28:16-20, Acts)
– Today, the place where Jesus was buried remains empty (unlike other gods)

Why should we worship Jesus?

In order to understand why we should worship Jesus, we first have to understand what worship is.

> Worship is not just musical (Romans 12:1-2)
> Worship is not constrained to a certain time or place (John 4:19-24)
