You’re going to have to let go of the good to grab a hold of the better.

Thinking about what I’ve learned from the past, where I am right now, and my future dreams, what is the wise thing for me to do?

What you are asking when it comes to choosing better in any decision you will face comes down to one key word: wisdom.

  • What is the chief end of man (meaning what is man’s one purpose)?  And the answer is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever.

3-Deepening Prayer

“Be still and know that I am God” – Psalm 46:10

“Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night. The wicked are not so, but are like chaff that the wind drives away.Read the rest

Pray: Week 1

1 – Necessity of Prayer

“Prayer is the only entry way into genuine self-knowledge. It is also the main way we experience deep change—the reordering of our loves. Prayer is how God gives us so many of the unimaginable things he has for us. Indeed, prayer makes it safe for God to give us many of the things we most desire. It is the way we know God, the way we finally treat God as God. Prayer is simply the key to everything we need to do and be in life.” – Tim Keller

Prayer is personal conversation and encounter with God.Read the rest
