THINK LIKE EVERYONE ELSE:
Focus on me
“The heart is deceitful above all things, and it is exceedingly corrupt: who can know it?”  Jeremiah 17:9

THINK DIFFERENT: Love others

“Then these righteous ones will reply, ‘Lord, when did we ever see you hungry and feed you? Or thirsty and give you something to drink? Or a stranger and show you hospitality? Or naked and give you clothing? When did we ever see you sick or in prison and visit you?’
“And the King will say, ‘I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!’  Matthew 25:37-40

THINK LIKE EVERYONE ELSE: I want revenge

“Never pay back evil with more evil. Do things in such a way that everyone can see you are honorable. Do all that you can to live in peace with everyone.”             Romans 12:17-18

THINK DIFFERENT: I will forgive

“Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.”  Ephesians 4:32

We are called to think different because Christ has made us different.

“For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.  Yet God, with undeserved kindness, declares that we are righteous. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins.”  Romans 3:22-24

“Be careful to live properly among your unbelieving neighbors. Then even if they accuse you of doing wrong, they will see your honorable behavior, and they will give honor to God when he judges the world.” 1 Peter 2:12
Think different by being quick to show the grace we’ve been given to others.
