1/8/12 – Week 1

Here’s what I know about being an athlete, dancer, being super-smart, being in good shape and the list could go on and on.  It takes a lot of time, energy, discipline, and dedication.  Playing any sport or doing anything worthwhile in life is really tough.  But even in the midst of all that is required, people continue to train and play.

People train and compete for variety of reasons.  They value the reward of participation.  They enjoy the benefits of competition.  They like the company of their teammates.  And the thrill of winning is a “rush” that’s difficult to explain.  But people mainly train and compete because there is a goal.  There is something to accomplish.
