1Up Weekend :: Wild Adventures Trip

1Up Weekend kicks off with our annual trip to a theme park!  This is a great way to connect with our ministry! We’ll be heading out to Wild Adventures for a day of roller coasters and water slides! It’s going to be a blast so bring a friend and join us for a wild day of adventure!

Who: Rising 6th-8th graders
What: A day at Wild Adventures Theme Park
When: Saturday, May 30
Cost: $60 (plus money for lunch & dinner); If you have aseason pass, the cost is only $15 (to cover transportation)

Additional Info: 

• Check-in will take place at the Student Center at 8:00am SHARP.  We will return to the church at 9:30 pm. Please make sure you have your completed medical release form and any final payment ready before departure.

• You’ll want to bring appropriate & modest swimwear for Splash Island Water Park.  For girls this means a one-piece or full-coverage tankini.  Guys no speedos or low-rise board shorts.  You will also want to bring a towel, sunscreen, sunglasses, etc., but you are responsible for all the items that you bring (lockers are available for a fee).  You must cover all swimwear or change into street clothing prior to re-entering Wild Adventures from Splash Island.

• Spending money for 2 meals is recommended, however you will be responsible for managing and keeping up with your money.

Also, make sure we have a completed Medical Release form on file for your student.

1Up Sunday :: 6th grade parent/student breakfast

Parents and new 6th graders: this is a great way to get started in our ministry! Start your morning off with breakfast in the Student Center with the Student Ministry staff at 9:30am Sunday, May 31, then at 10:00 am you can join us for your first Sunday Morning LIVE! We’ll also give you a tour of the Student Center and answer any questions you may have!

 

1Up Weekend :: HS Splash into Summer

High School Students – We are excited to welcome up our new 9th graders and all high school students to summer in student ministry with a special Splash into Summer event!  This will take place right after the service (around 11:30a) on Sunday, May 31 at where we will eat lunch and then head as a group down to Wakulla Springs!  Bring your bathing suit, sunscreen and towel and get ready for some fun with friends, swimming, games and more!  The cost is only $10.
